Make Sport Not War in Frozen Cortex
Step-wise tactics of Frozen Synapse captivated with elegance - the rules are minimal and the depth at the same time is impressive. While special operations of cyberpunks had long been accustomed, the new game from Mode 7 Games - Frozen Cortex (former Frozen Endzone) surprises with original entourage: civilized competition came to replace the armed clashes.  Cortex is a futuristic game similar to American football. Having seized the ball, the attackers are trying to slip into the zone of the enemy; if the defenders catch the ball, the roles change. To reassure players indifferent to Sport Strategy: this is not a rigorous simulator, but the same Frozen Synapse, just with different conditions. In order to prevent any hint of realism, developers have replaced live players with robots - both "coaches" at the same time give the command, and then obedient pieces of iron perform them.
